With the festive season in full swing, there is no better time to be merry and bright and indulge in some seasonal treats. Forget slaving away in the kitchen this year and gift your loved ones – and yourself – with a full holiday meal. Whether you’re partial to the traditional roasted turkey or seeking for an alternative Christmas-themed meal, we’re bringing you the best Christmas menus in Hong Kong during this most wonderful time of the year.

La Rotisserie

Celebrate the merriest time of the year with a hearty holiday meal at La Rotisserie. A nod to authentic French country-style cooking, La Rotisserie focuses on a unique cooking technique aptly named rotisserie which is generally used during family gatherings or to celebrate festivities. Known as one of Hong Kong’s best French take-away hot spots, the culinary team has specially curated festive menus that include a la carte and package offerings suitable for groups of 6-10 people.

Let the holiday festivities begin with the remarkably rich French Free Range Turkey (HK$598 for 6-8 guests or HK$798 for 8-10 people), the slow-roasted and succulent Barbarie Duck (HK$438 for 8-10 people), or even the tender and juicy Capon (HK$698 for 8-10 people), known as a connoisseur’s favorite in France. For those seeking to relish in a staple dish of the eatery, indulge in the French Free Range Chicken (HK$548 for 6-8 people), which is roasted to perfection. All of these delightful dishes are served with a zesty splash of cranberry, orange and ginger sauce.

Complement the table centerpiece with La Rotisserie’s Sauteed French Beans with Sweet Potatoes & Chestnuts (HK$288), Truffle Parmesan Mashed Potatoes (HK$288) or the sumptuous Chocolate Cake (HK$348), to seal the deal on your festive meal.

Beef & Liberty

With the festive season approaching, Beef & Liberty welcomes back the Sweet Baby Cheesus (HK$139) to its menu. This indulgent take on a traditional Christmas feast with an aptly named burger, the Sweet Baby Cheesus, will be available at all restaurants in Hong Kong.

Specially created by Chef Neil Tomes, the burger contains Scottish beef topped with slices of creamy blue and Brie cheese then decorated with luscious toppings of cranberry sauce, onion jam and house pickles in between two toasty golden buns. For vegetarians, there is an option to replace the burger with an Impossible patty (HK$159).

Such festivities would not be complete without a seasonal sweet treat. Back by popular demand is the Warm Christmas Cookie & Cream made with Christmas spices, dark chocolate and copious amounts of thick cream. An Almond Coconut Black Tea Latte special will also be available with Ceylon tea for a comforting warm fix this chilly season.

Motte 32

Transforming their restaurant into an elegant winter wonderland, contemporary Chinese restaurant Mott 32 is beginning the festivities with seasonal menus featuring a traditional Cantonese spin on staple holiday dishes. The first option is the Peking Turkey menu (HK$1,880 for a minimum of 4 people) features the turkey skillfully served in three preparations. This includes a Shredded Turkey Salad with a tangy cranberry dressing, a delicately Spiced Minced Turkey on crisp prawn crackers and a succulent Free-Range Barbecued Turkey roasted and marinated in a Chinese-style garlic and scallion sauce – and served with a homemade cranberry sauce.
