In Atlanta, this time of year means celebrating the luck of the Irish and all things green, gold and St. Patrick’s Day related. Though the ongoing pandemic has changed the look of some of these St. Patrick’s Day events in Atlanta, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday this year. On St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), and for some businesses through the rest of the month, many businesses are offering celebrations or celebratory deals and specials. Check out this rundown of many of the fun things to do around Atlanta this year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the beginning of spring. 

Second Self St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

For a St. Patrick’s Day celebration that’s festive, fun, and focused on the beer lover, Second Self brewery has you covered on March 17. They are celebrating with $3 pints of green beer and $10 pitchers of their year-round beers. For COVID safety precautions they are requiring masks to be worn when in the tasting room and when ordering beer.

St. Patrick’s Day Specials at Joy Cafe

From Tuesday, March 16 through Sunday, March 21, Joy Cafe will be offering guests a selection of Irish whiskey tasting flights in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. During weekend brunch, guests can enjoy specials on Kiwi Mimosas and Irish coffee, hot or iced.

Tuesday, March 16, 8 p.m. – Come for St. Patrick’s Eve Lucky Trivia, a twist on Hampton + Hudson’s regular trivia night. This week will feature St. Patrick’s Day themed trivia with great Irish drink specials like US$5 Jameson, Guinness and Black & Tans. 

Wednesday, March 17 – On St. Patrick’s Day, Hampton + Hudson will be celebrating all day with food specials like a Corned Beef Plate with braised green cabbage and potatoes, and Banger Sausages & Mash with brown gravy. There will also be continued US$5 Irish drink specials on Jameson, Guinness and Black & Tans.
