Cafes are everyone’s go-to places, be it for getting work done, enjoying coffee in a relaxing place or meeting up with friends. However, it can get a little boring when you visit the same cafes in Hong Kong over and over again.

Venturing out and searching for new cafes in Hong Kong can also be a daunting task, especially with the myriad options available around the city. To save you time, we have shortlisted some of the best coffee shops in Hong Kong which could just become your new favorite workspace or hangout spot.

With its eye-catching pastel yellow door and the European-style exterior, LATTER Cafe is a new addition to the list of aesthetic coffee shops in Wan Chai. Besides the exterior, the interior is also worth the hype. Soft white curtains adorn the big windows, and warm and pastel-toned sofas and walls create a relaxing ambience among the plants and flowers at different corners and tables of the cafe.

Other than your standard coffee drinks and pastries like bagels and cakes, LATTER Cafe’s specialties include the unique Mango Sticky Rice Chiffon Cake, Thai Milk Tea Scone, Coconut Espresso and Double Matcha Lava Bagel. There are also green breakfast and pasta options if you have a big appetite. What’s more is LATTER Cafe is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend and take some perfect snaps for the ‘gram.

From Scratch is also a very Instagram-worthy place – you will see plants at every corner, and there are big windows allowing you to enjoy the bustling streets.
