Critically acclaimed actor Michael B Jordan was crowned as 2020’s Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. Known for his performances in “Fruitvale Station,” “Creed” and “Black Panther,” the 33-year-old said the honor of receiving that title was a “cool feeling.”

He first learned the news during a call with his publicist and told the magazine that “it’s a good club to be a part of.”

Jordan received praise by many of his fans and peers, including the 2016 winner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson posted on Instagram about the Sexiest Man Alive crown, saying “I CONCEDE NOTHING,” playing on the current election drama in the United States. He had nothing but love for Jordan, writing “congrats to my brother @michaelbjordan on the new sexy crown.”

Jordan joins the ranks of popular Sexiest Man Alive winners like Idris Elba, Adam Levine, John Legend, Johnny Depp and Hugh Jackman. He is also the third Black winner in a row of the title. The actor has been outspoken about diversifying representation in Hollywood. His production company in 2018 was the first to publicly adopt inclusion riders which require a film to hire a diverse cast and crew. Jordan has also partnered with nonprofit Color of Change to develop an initiative for Hollywood to invest in Black stories and anti-racist content.

The magazine has run the feature since 1985, when they named Mel Gibson the first winner of the title. Similar annual lists by the magazine include “Cutest Baby Alive” and the “100 Most Beautiful People.”

Michael B. Jordan on OnlyFans?

On November 17, Jordan appeared on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to share the exciting news. He also revealed more news on the show that sent fans into total mayhem – he’s joining OnlyFans. Jimmy commented on Michael’s new mustache, and the actor joked saying he was preparing to challenge Steve Harvey in a “mustache-off.” The inspiration behind growing the mustache actually came during quarantine. “I never had time to actually sit in one place and grow my facial hair where I didn’t have to get it groomed, or manicured or anything like that,” Jordan said. “So, during quarantine, I just wanted to see how much hair I could actually grow.”

Jordan even named the mustache, calling him Murphy. Jimmy predicted that his new mustache would probably make “$250,000 a year if [his] mustache had an OnlyFans account.” Surprisingly, Michael responded saying he was “actually going to start one.” However, all proceed would “go toward a barber school, because during the quarantine… there’s been so many businesses and schools that shut down.”

He added that his barber and team are trying to put everything together. Jordan assured Kimmel, “it’s a thing.” He shared that his mustache will be doing all sorts of things. In his words, “it will get wild.”
