Bang & Olufsen launches limited-edition collection celebrating the Lunar New Year 2023

To celebrate the 2023 Lunar New Year, Bang & Olufsen is introducing a special edition collection inspired by the classic colors and elements of the Silk Road.

The collection includes five of Bang & Olufsen's iconic products: the Beoplay A9 home speaker, Beolit 20 portable speaker, Beosound A1 portable speaker, Beoplay H95 headphones and Beoplay EX true wireless noise-canceling earphones.

The Silk Road was a network of trade routes that stretched over 6,000 kilometers and played a vital role in connecting the East and West for more than 2,000 years. The significance of the Silk Road as a piece of history and its impact on cultural exchange is still recognized today.

"Bang & Olufsen has always been committed to bridging Eastern and Western cultures, and this collection is a tribute to the legendary Silk Road, incorporating ancient oriental charm into its design," says Leon Tang, marketing director of Bang & Olufsen Greater China.

This collection also draws inspiration from the traditional Lunar New Year color palette of Lunar Red, Jade Green and Gold Tone, incorporating these rich colors into the musical creations of Bang & Olufsen. The designs for the Beosound A1 and Beolit 20 also feature hand-woven leather knots, symbolizing happy reunions and paying homage to oriental culture. Furthermore, the packaging for the Beoplay A9 has a beautiful silk ribbon design that continues across each product's cover. Inspired by musical flow, the design represents the joy of families coming together during this special time.

The Bang & Olufsen Lunar New Year Collection is exclusively available at Bang & Olufsen stores from December 27, 2022.
