Celebrate International Women's Day with Women of Hong Kong this March

Ladies, it's time to celebrate! Women's Day is just around the corner, and Women of Hong Kong (WOHK) have got the perfect events lined up for you. Taking place on March 9 at Sky 100 Observation Deck, WOHK, this event aims to celebrate women, empower the community and promote equity in the workplace and beyond.

Themed #EmbraceEquity, the event will feature a variety of expert panelists sharing their inspiring stories and insights on breaking down barriers and driving change.

“I believe women are the driving force of change in the world,” explains Sarah Vee to TMS. “It's important we celebrate women's achievements and raise awareness about gender inequities. As more and more women feel empowered, the multiplier effect kicks in – when you empower one woman, you empower many.

"I'm extremely excited for the upcoming events because it is further proof of what happens when we, both male and female, come together for causes we believe in – it creates a domino effect, incremental tiny changes that can impact the future."

The Women Forging Change panel includes Alia Eyres, CEO of Mother's Choice, Mini Vandepol, Partner at Baker McKenzie, Christina Ho, Commercial Airline Pilot and Vee.

Meanwhile, the Women Defining Boundaries panel will be moderated by Dr. Sharmeen Shroff, and will feature Felicity McRobb, Breakthrough Performance Consultant and winner of the AmCham WOI "Champion for Women" award, and Bhavna Bharvani, Professional Clinical Counselor at Central Minds.

But this event is not just about serious discussions – WOHK also wants attendees to have fun and celebrate. There will be plenty of opportunities to network, connect with other amazing women, and raise awareness about discrimination and gender equality.
