March 11 marks a notable day for burger enthusiasts across Hong Kong, with Flat Iron Burger making its debut on Elgin Street. Spearheaded by the culinary minds behind Flat Iron Steak and Steak King, Chef Aarik Persaud and Johnny Glover are back after years apart, reigniting their shared culinary passion. Previous collaborations from the duo included The Butchers Club and The Butchers Club Burger.
Located in the lively Soho district, Flat Iron Burger combines culinary flair with an interactive dining experience, thanks to its open kitchen layout. This design invites diners to observe the burger-making process up close. The menu centers around burgers made from Black Angus or Wagyu beef, sourced from Macka’s of Queensland.
The Lunch set includes a 6OZ burger, fries, and frozen custard for HK$148. On the à la carte menu, options like the Flatiron Deluxe, The Pigalle n Cheese, Shinjuku Surf n Turf, and Buffalo Bill aim to provide a variety of tastes and quality ingredients.
Side dishes, including Triple Cooked Chips and Boston Fries, homemade Frozen Custards and visually striking Concrete Shakes, complete the dining experience, ensuring variety and quality across the board.
The beverage selection, from craft beers to classic cocktails and wines, promises something for every diner.
