Let’s toast to women’s health! Phenomenally Pink is hosting its first edition of Sips for Nips on Saturday, May 18. This event aims to fundraise for a minimum of 150 free breast exams to continue providing this proactive health and self-care solution to the underprivileged communities of Hong Kong. The event will showcase nine guest bartenders from the Phenomenally Pink community of partners and ambassadors, most of whom have never been behind a bar before, shaking up their own creations of cocktails and mocktails to support the Phenomenally Pink team in reaching their fundraising target, with 50% of each drink sale going toward the fundraiser.
Although the cocktails fundraiser will be a four-hour event, the team assures it will be sipped by quickly. Each bartender will host their unique creations for only one designated hour at the event, so if there's a bartender you want to get to know or support, make sure to look out for their shift time slots and come in early. There will also only be limited servings of each drink.
While 150 free breast exams may sound like a small number, the team hopes to be able to fundraise beyond this target through their first-ever guest bartender cocktails fundraiser in collaboration with Hong Kong cocktail bar Thirsty Shaker. The team will be selling exclusive charity merchandise and hosting a raffle, with prizes sponsored by the likes of Hong Kong Padel Association, Caskells Whiskey, The Blomstre, Flagrant Hot Sauce, and N.I.P Gin.
