Alice Pizza, renowned for its Roman pan pizza, has opened a second, two-story Hong Kong location at 18 Cochrane Street in Central. This new spot is set to be a flagship store for both Hong Kong and Asia, featuring the brand’s iconic al taglio rectangular slices.
Founded in 1989, Alice Pizza has sold over 6.5 million kilograms of pizza worldwide. The al taglio method, meaning "by the cut," lets customers select and sample multiple flavors at once. The concept is meant to make pizza an easy, on-the-go option, perfect for any occasion – whether for a quick lunch, a casual gathering or a relaxed evening out.
The new location in Central has also introduced five new menu items, featuring ingredients imported directly from Italy. With over two dozen varieties on the menu, there are plenty of authentic, homemade pizzas to fit every craving.
Highlights include the Chef's Choice with speck, porcini, ricotta, mozzarella and parsley; the Salsiccia and Porcini; the classic Italian Potato Salsiccia; a Crostino Sandwich with cooked ham and mozzarella; and Eggplant Parmesan with eggplant, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, mozzarella and basil.
The Central store will also showcase a mural by local artist Pei Chung. Inspired by the Roman Colosseum and iconic Hong Kong elements like the Star Ferry and neon signs, the mural spans an L-shaped corner wall. This artwork, one of Pei Chung’s longest-running public installations, will be on display at Alice Pizza for a year.
