NADAGOGO, a new yakitori-izakaya inspired by the culinary and sake culture of Kobe’s Nada villages, has opened on Wan Chai’s Ship Street. They're offering three distinct culinary experiences: Tokyo- and Hakata-style yakitori, robatayaki and washoku, led by veteran Japanese chefs Shimoji Atsushi and Tsunenori Takahashi.

The restaurant is all about authenticity, affordability and atmosphere, with the aim of creating a genuine Japanese dining experience. For example, the 1,000-square-foot space features natural materials and traditional Japanese decor. It can also seat over 65 diners.

Yakitori highlights include Chicken Thigh, Liver and rare cuts like Chicken Crest. Robatayaki offerings feature M7 Grilled Australia Wagyu Harami Steak and Salt Grilled Kinki Fish. The washoku menu includes three types of delicacies and Nadagogo-style Chicken Ramen.

NADAGOGO’s drink options focus on high-quality sake, including Aramasa No.6 from Akita. Lunch sets, like Grilled Japanese Chicken Thigh and M7 Australia Wagyu Harami Steak, are also available daily.
