SummerFest is back with a bang, spreading its magic across two stunning venues. First, it kicked off at the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space from April 5 to July 3, serving up a whirlwind of arts, music and outdoor markets. But now, it's moved to the Central Harbourfront Event Space from July 5 - August 11, where you can see five giant Inflatable Wonders crafted with cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology. What to expect this SummerFest?
SummerFest is back, and this year, it's pulling out all the stops to mark its 8th anniversary with a bang. At the Central Harbourfront Event Space (CHES) from July 5 - August 11, this annual extravaganza promises a summer filled with excitement. Stroll through an outdoor wonderland adorned with larger-than-life Inflatable Wonders inspired by global landmarks, like a bouncy castle version of Stonehenge or a playful Tower of Pisa. It's a visual feast that's sure to spark joy and wonder for all ages.
Beyond visual spectacles, SummerFest offers something for everyone. Weekends are packed with activities like fun runs along the waterfront, where people of all ages can participate. SummerFest@Central 2024 is gearing up to be a standout event at Hong Kong's Central Harbourfront, offering a mix of creativity, sportsmanship and cultural flair. This year's edition introduces five eye-catching Inflatable Wonders crafted with innovative generative AI technology by AI artist @joooo.ann. These larger-than-life installations, featuring iconic landmarks like Stonehenge and the Tower of Pisa, will be illuminated in vibrant colors, adding a playful touch to the waterfront landscape. The Stonehenge setup even doubles as a giant trampoline, making it a blast for visitors of all ages.
Sports enthusiasts will find their match at the Fun Sports Gala, a centerpiece of SummerFest@Central. Running enthusiasts can participate in 5-kilometer runs along the scenic harbors every Friday and Saturday, while Sundays feature family-friendly 2-kilometer runs.
