Hong Kong's Flat Iron is celebrating summer with a handful of exciting events at both Flat Iron Burger and Flat Iron Deluxe. These include a unique burger series, a luxurious surf & turf special and interactive sausage-making classes, offering something for every foodie.
Flat Iron Burger's new Burger Takeover series starts with Chef Vinny Lauria’s The Spaghetti and Meatball Burger. Featuring mozzarella, crispy fried spaghetti, Italian red sauce and crumbled meatballs, the burger is listed on the "Not-so-secret - Secret Menu." Plus, for every burger sold, 10% of the proceeds go to charity.
At Flat Iron Deluxe, guests can enjoy the Surf & Turf Summer Special. This indulgent meal, available from July 1 - August 31 for HK$598 for two people, includes a 1-kilogram Angus T-Bone steak, slipper lobster thermidor, beef dripping fries, a green salad and a bottle of Malbec. It's the perfect option for those looking to savor a combo of premium steak and seafood.
Additionally, Flat Iron Deluxe offers interactive Sausage Classes. Participants will learn the art of sausage making, from butchering pork cuts and selecting ingredients to grinding, stuffing and linking sausages. Chef Aarik Persaud will prepare a meal using the handmade sausages, and attendees will enjoy complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks. Participants also take home a kilo of sausages valued at HK$300. Yes, in this case, we want to see how the sausage is made.
