The Hong Kong Sake Festival 2024 will be held from August 14 - 16 at The Mira Hong Kong’s penthouse ballroom. This year’s festival will feature over 500 varieties of sake and shochu from 43 sake-producing prefectures across Japan. It’s a vibrant mix of tradition and innovation, with everything from limited-edition labels to workshops that’ll boost your sake knowledge. You can expect VIP guests, including industry experts and brewery representatives, and even a chance to meet 2024 Miss Sake Niigata.

For those eager to learn more, the festival offers “Sake 101” workshops led by top instructors, covering the basics of sake selection, tasting and pairing. Each workshop dives into different aspects of sake, from storage and maturation to the influence of brewing water. Alongside all this, your ticket includes unlimited Asian bites, a gift bag worth HK$1,000 with a custom Riedel wine glass and the chance to win prizes like a one-night stay at The Mira. Plus, there’s an opportunity to purchase limited-edition sake that supports brewers from Ishikawa Prefecture, recently affected by an earthquake.
