Chi Yawaragu, an artisanal kushiyaki spot in Sheung Wan, has introduced two new omakase menus that offer the freshest seasonal seafood. Known for its authentic izakaya feel, the eatery is now offering the new Seafood Symphony and Tide to Table Sensation omakase sets, available for HK$480 and HK$1,280 per person, respectively.
Diners can savor everything from succulent Hiroshima oysters served alongside kombu to the sweet summertime Ayu (sweetfish), along with a selection of lobster or abalone, bringing the best of the ocean to the table. The Teriyaki Eel is another standout, as they are sourcing fresh, local eel rather than the pre-cooked type typical to most Japanese restaurants.
These additions complement their signature grilled yakitori and diverse drinks list, offering a refreshing twist on traditional Japanese cuisine. And be sure to swing by during their After Four Happy Hour, where drinks between 4 - 7 p.m. come with free-flowing bites like Wasabi Raw Octopus Pickled Yuzu Daikon, Pickled Burdock with Soy Sauce and Grilled Cod Fish Stick.
