Wrap up your summer properly by joining the GuideFong Bazaar on September 8 to enjoy multicultural experiences at the Hive Sheung Wan. Organized by the Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI) in partnership with the Hive Sheung Wan, this event supports grassroots and ethnically diverse entrepreneurs by connecting them with the local community.
GuideFong, named after the Cantonese word for “neighbor,” is Hong Kong’s first online directory for small and micro businesses owned by ethnically diverse entrepreneurs. Launched by FSI in 2023, it aims to increase visibility, promote social inclusion and break down cultural barriers. Over 100 businesses are listed, all founded, owned or operated by participants in FSI’s Mentorship Program for Ethnically Diverse Entrepreneurs.
The GuideFong Bazaar will feature a variety of businesses, including Nepcha, The Blomstre, ilm, Shilpa’s Masala Mill, Anvi Candles, Eternity Jewels, Foodie Explorerz, Africa Center Hong Kong, blooms.forever and many more. Attendees can enjoy sustainably sourced Nepalese tea, handcrafted soy wax candles, spice blends, designer jewelry, African fashion, sustainable bouquets and get tips on local halal, vegetarian and vegan food.
Tickets are HK$50 and include a HK$20 discount voucher for purchases over HK$100. Visitors can also buy raffle tickets to win prizes from the attending entrepreneurs. All proceeds support FSI’s efforts to empower the ethnically diverse community through GuideFong and related programs.
